Baltimore

Timeline: 2021-Present

CPSC is working in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania and the National Institute of Criminal Justice Reform to provide technical support to the City of Baltimore’s Gun Violence Reduction Strategy (GVRS).  The GVRS strategy is a joint commitment between Mayor Brandon Scott, Police Commissioner Michael Harrison and State’s Attorney Marylin Mosbey.

This effort is currently focused in West Baltimore, and will eventually scale citywide. This project will be evaluated by the University of Pennsylvania.

The mayor’s joint op-ed can be found here.
